An elopement day at Chatterbox falls is truly a special day. It is a day completely enveloped in all the beauty mother nature has to offer in B.C.
Sarah and Sean’s beautiful elopement started with a simple, curious email. Exploring the idea of eloping after experiencing the disappointment of having to postpone their wedding for a year the previous summer, due to the ongoing pandemic. Unsure of whether they wanted to take on the task of planning a large event with the ever-changing restrictions, the idea of eloping seemed simple. And after speaking to our wedding planner, Melissa, they explored their options and effortlessly planned the adventure elopement of their dreams.
They set out on their adventure starting with a road trip across B.C and arrived at our quiet little town on the Sunshine Coast for their elopement the following day. Melissa had made sure everything was arranged, Sarah had her hair and makeup done at their gorgeous suite overlooking the ocean at The Pointhouse Suites in Sargent’s bay and made the short drive down to the dock to meet Sean for their first look before boarding their flight!

The energy surrounding an elopement at Chatterbox falls is truly special to behold. There is this indescribable feeling when standing so close to such a powerful force of nature. The water cascading down the 7000 ft granite walls funnelling into the rushing falls before you create this immense silence and adds to the complete seclusion the area provides. Sarah and Sean said their vows with the focus completely on them, nothing to distract or take away from the emotion of the moment, completely lost in their shared experience. And then we popped champagne and took some gorgeous photos while we hopped around on the rocks and danced down the sandy beaches. Of course!
